iPhone App Stays Connected

I notice that, even when I sign out of the Chess.com app on my iPhone, I still get notified when I have a game ready. This is annoying becuase a) it's likely using up my data and b) when I'm sitting at my computer playing, I really don't need to be notified by my iPhone.

Is there a way to completely disconnect from my Chess.com account?

you can stop the notifications by going into setting on the front page and not on the app and then if you go down you should see under notifications to turn on or off notifications and when you turn it off it should stop interrupting you or you could just delete the app 

Well deleting it would be annoying... What else am I supposed to do in class?
