iPhone app timed game

Having played the Chess.com app against various other iPhone App AI opponents, my conclusion is HIARCS is consistently stronger than any other iPhone chess app (and that includes all the other big guns like Fritz, Shredder, as well as other respected apps like Chess Genius as well as Glaurung and indeed the Chess.com app), however the Chess.com app is certainly up there with them in the same class along with Glaurung in terms of the best free AI opponent (and by free that means it is just as good as the rest of those premium ones I just mentioned). For some reason though, HIARCS did consistently play stronger than any other when given the same amount of playing time.
It would be nice to have the glitch with the clock in the Chess.com app when the AI is white acknowledged, though as free software, I understand development can be very intermittent.
There seems to be a problem with the iPhone Chess.com app (v1.33) when playing a timed game against the AI, when White is set to be played by the Computer at Strength 5 or higher. White's time starts at 0:00 whereas Black starts at whatever amount of time the game is set to. This only occurs when White is set to Computer and the Computer Strength is set higher than 4. When White is set to Human, both clocks are set correctly at the start regardless of how high the Computer Strength is set to.
The AI in the Chess.com app is very powerful but it would be nice to be able to play as Black against it in a timed game (the AI ignores the time restriction when it starts at 0:00).
