Tried reinstalling and no fix for me. Still no option for notification settings nor for background refresh. Badge only shows up after I open the app. Definitely a problem.
IPhone x, iOS 11.1.2, sent a support message.

Okay partially there... I was able to get Notification Center going again. Had to start a new game without doing a rematch. At that point it asked me to allow notifications, and after choosing Allow, Chess showed up in Notification Center. Unfortunately still no badge icon showing when I have a move to do.
(I did reinstall it three times with no change.)
Also have no notifications/notification options. Running iOS 11.1.2, iPhone X

I can't get notifications or badges to show up on my iPhone 6S running iOS 11.1.2 (15B202).
I'm getting this problem again today. Tried closing and re-opening app. Turning notifications off and back on. And also rebooting phone.
This bug is has been back for me too.
I don't even have a notification option in my iphone settings anymore. Please fix this bug
