Is it possibly to pay for Gold or Platinum yearly subscription all the amount at once, not monthly billing? How is it done?

Is it possible to try the Platinum free trial and at the end of period to pay for the Gold subscription? So, to downgrade the free trial plan? What is the procedure, also to pay all the amount at once?

I don’t want my card to be bound to pay monthly.

The yearly price is discounted and only paid in advance.

You can trial any tier but would need to downgrade before the trial converts to get the appropriate charge for the lowered tier.

So, I can pay all the amount in advance. That’s good.

I use only the website, not the app. I want to know for sure that all the functions of the subscription work in the website and not be told later to use the app. If something works only in the app, I would like to know in advance (I don’t want to use the app).

How you already know, because you answered to the problems I brought to attention, I had some problems related to reloading the Puzzle page, also the Review page. If I continue to have such dysfunctional problems, after I bought the yearly subscription, can I have a refund, at least for the remaining period?

If I pay, I expect the website to work impeccable (all the functions written for the subscription, without reloading the page).

Are you member of Support staff, that means I can rely on your word as being official from Chess.com?

Paying doesn't give you better connection. I have had to switch to daily because my connection dies out 20-25 moves into a game.

You make assumptions. My internet connection is impeccable and high speed. Romania is known for that. Optic fiber. I had problem with reloading the page when pushing “New Game” button, that was fixed by Chess.com when I reported. So, the functionality problems can appear for non-paying users, but for paying users I expect the site to work perfectly, when not the connection is the culprit. Let’s not make excuses, by mixing the “connection” in the soup.

I like Chess.com and by no means I want to attack it. I appreciate your passion for chess and this site (the same as mine), but please, do not hijack my thread.

I still hope for an official answer from Chess.com, not from it’s fans, since I want to buy a subscription that IT’S FULLY WORKING.

Likely assumptions from your part. I’m honest, and if I make an error I admit it. Just read my other posts that I marked as SOLVED. The reloading page problem appeared after the last major site change this year. In 2024 I didn’t have those problems on same IPad. I have the last Firefox, no extensions, just 3 tabs with chess sites. The problem is not from me, but might be limitations for non-paying users, brought by the last major site update. I want to be assured that this will not happen if I pay a subscription -> a legitimate expectation for which I ask assurances from Chess.com staff. Hopefully they will take responsibility and respond and not let it’s fans to come with imaginary excuses for them.

Right now I finished my 3 rated Puzzles. The page keeps reloading, which impede my thinking process and make me lose points. I don’t want this behavior for paying subscription. In fact, this is one important reasons for which I want buy one, to get rid of this annoying reloading.

Last Updated Firefox on Ipad, no extensions, just 3 chess sites tabs opened. It happened also with only Chess.com tab opened.
