Most staff do not work through direct messages. Directly contacting a staff member is likely to reach someone that doesn’t work on what you need anyway.
You should be able to get the Support tool to created ticket to Staff. Be sure to explain your situation fully. If the automated answers do not help, try something like contact an agent
