Is there a way to upgrade free trial to Diamond?

Due to Corona my vacation plans have been discarded. Therefore I'll have plenty of time at my hands and want to allocate some of it to learn chess. This website seems to be an appropriate place to do so and I've signed up for a premium membership straight away to get access to the game analysis tools, learning material etc.

For now I've chosen gold membership, because I'm not sure whether or not I'll like chess and stick to it. However I was under the impression one would get a free diamond trial phase regardless of which premium plan is chosen. Is there a way to upgrade the trial phase to diamond?

I suppose I could delete this account and create a new one with which I can sign up for the diamond plan to get the diamond trial, but I'd prefer to keep this account.

You might check with support directly. I'm not sure what would happen if you went to the membership page and chose Diamond now.

I've seen an option to upgrade the plan, but I'm not sure whether that'll bill me right away. It's probably a good idea to open a support ticket. Thank you for the link!
