this topic needs a bump for staff to wake the fuct up. 

twice today i have had thought out messages zapped by the red f#*#ing banner. they were messages to members of a group i'm in, and about the group. there were ZERO curse words. in fact, there was nothing resembling curse words. 

staff? hello? any explanation? 

afaics swearing is only allowed if you are a kid.  you go kid @stickyrice123, swear for us who can't.

i mean he's been at it for weeks, and not even a finger wag from the staff or mods.

Things in Off Topic may not get as much attention, so reporting TOS violations may sometimes be needed for content there. I have contacted the member.

I don't like auto-things in general as they're incapable of nuance or of understanding individual situations or circumstances.    While I have no problem with the language policy in the forums due to their public nature, I don't think it should be (or understand why it is) extended to blogs, clubs or especially PMs.  It's intrusive and unnecessary.  If the purpose is to avoid dissonance, the result is just the opposite.

i would like to reiterate that the two pm's i sent yesterday that were zapped contained no curse words or off-color language in any way. so, there was no "nuance" or "understanding". 

besides, doesn't pm stand for personal/private message?

Personal yes, private no.  All your base are belong to us. Do not drop your soap. 

well, of course. that is how it is "sold" to us, but, i remember kohai knowing things that had only been communicated between another and i via pm.
