Hello, I keep having problems with abandonment... The app says I'm waiting for the other player, and then I lose because it's been a minute or something. I've stopped using my wifi, but it keeps happening with my data as well. It happens every 3-4 games

@atd16, try clearing your cache in your web browser and closing other browser windows and apps.

I could be wrong but I don't think the app supports that yet. Groups are not currently available there and you'll need to use the site.

OK thanks Martin...hope they sort it out as vote chess is great for traveling :)
There are bugs with this apps . . Happened to me a lot . . I move my turn and waiting for the against player to play , , and his time is running out finally I find my self lose by timeout , , really happened a lot to me . . Hope solve this issues , ,

Hi. Just wondering why the connection is cut off so often even if I have a reasonable connection. Surely it can't take that much bandwidth to send a chess move? Apart from that (which is pretty important) your program is excellent! Jesse

Disconnects can happen for a variety of reasons. Could be something on your system (Flash, streaming video/music, other processes can also cause issues). Could be one of any number of hops between you and the Live server. Could potentially be the server too.
That said, if you are on the app, in particular on iOS, there may actually be something more going on. I've seen a number of topics with disconnects. Can't say if it is a new iOS issue, something with the app code, or something else entirely.
Post some issues and problems about Chess.com and hopefully the staff will eventually come upon it!
