It could be the well-known programming policy: "never remove the last one".
Hehe. Ok well he's removed now. Perhaps it takes several minutes before it actually removes it from there.

yes, anything you remove or even update needs a few minutes to right itself

On your own homepage, top right corner point your mouse cursor to where it says My Home. A drop down menu appears.
Click on that list where it says 'Friends'.
That takes you directly to your Friends list. Next to each person on your friend list will be an option 'Remove'. Click on that to remove them from your friend list.

it still shows me he's my friend (talk about being attached :-))
My friends list is completely empty now yet whenever I view the list of my games he still shows under My Friends Online.
How do I get rid of this stalker?
