Large bug when clicking on links

What link did you click and where was it?

What link did you click and where was it?
The link was in an OTF forum, (off topic forums) and the link led to a different topic that shows someone making a slur. But instead it put me on the same page as #2.

I just tested that link and it worked correctly.

@Martin_Stahl I'm also experiencing issues with some of the links.
Do you think you could check this one out and make sure it's working properly?

And maybe read the post while you are there?

That’s because your on computer. This bug is a bug that is on mobile. Have you ever tested this on mobile?

So, you're on iOS then? Tested on Android and it opens to the website.

I was wrong, the Android Mobile app works well enough, but the iPhone app v4.2.16 (5869) does not.
When you follow a link pointing to a page on Chesscom it takes you to your web Home Page. To get around this bug, I usually copy the link and paste it into the Safari web browser to read it.

I believe there's a newer version available. Probably still has the same issue but might be worth checking.

@Martin_Stahl dont you think a repeat offender using racial slurs deserves to be muted? Or does chess.com policy allow racial slurs as long as you only use them every 2 months?

A lot of one-off things like that might be handled by different Moderators, with no documentation and just an edit of the post, so it could potentially not be seen that it might be repetitive behavior.

It’s not a one-off if they have been reported multiple times by multiple users. I know that documentation from the user would be helpful but after using the proper channels to report abuse, record-keeping should be the site’s responsibility.

That is not the case in this situation.
The first slur used by this member (at least the first that I know of) was edited by @AwesomeAtti. The edit clearly states "[Moderator removes racial slur - AA]".

The second slur was just recently edited by you so you can't deny that one existed. Although I do have a screenshot of it if you need to refresh your memory.

This proves repetitive behavior.
You say that edited comments may not be seen as repetitive behavior because of lack of documentation. Like Gregg says "record-keeping should be the site’s responsibility".
@AwesomeAtti chose to document why the comment was edited. You chose not to. That is a failure on your part. Mods have publicly stated that action cannot be taken based off screenshots taken by members that are reporting issues, however that is the only way for us to prove what was posted after a comment has been edited with out explanation like you have done.
What more do you need to take proper action against this member (LONG MUTE) for the repeated use of racial slurs?

Correct.
