Who did you play? How is anyone supposed to identify it?

If it has only happened twice in over 1500 games, then the error rate is pretty good. It isn't the best to lose games but sometimes, glitches happen. But as notmtwain said, more details would help and really, a ticket to support would probably be the better way to get help on that issue.

I really don't remember who I played with. I wish I remembered. I play over 6-8 games a day and it's hard to remember, but it's frustrating when this happens. I know after whom I played as the previous game is recorded. Probably they can check their database for any glitches.
Games do get wiped out when the server restarts but usually they make multiple announcements that they are going to do it and telling people to log off and not start any more games.
You say your game was finished. Any games finished before a restart aren't affected.
I also lost a won game from my list, but have far fewer played (<6 so far), so it's not just a random event. The game just disappeared. This should not happen.
The same just happened to me. I played against 1400, and he was losing the game. I asked for a draw but I refused. I was playing on my iPad and suddenly the programmed shut down and there was no record of the game. Anyone?

It also happened to me three times it just did it now it didn't give me rating points either.

The games get written to the archives asynchronously, depending on load, so can take some time to fully be available.

I played a game and won but it's no were to be found. Neither I got points for it. It just vanished. This has happened to be twice in over approx 1500 games I played. Please check if there is an error from your end.
