Live chess board size.

Despite size selections, my board size in live chess never changes.  How do I get larger board?

I'm not sure if this will solve it, but if you rest the cursor right on the line where the control panel options are (being on the left side), the one-way cursor arrow turns into a two-way arrow. Once you see the two way arrow, click hold on the mouse and drag the control windows to the right. The control windows will shrink, and the board will expand the more you continue to drag it to the side. However, this will not be permanent; once you log out, the next time you return, you have to shrink the control panel boxes.

Cratercat, thank you!  That is a bit helpful, but I would still like to see a larger board; at least the size of the default board for our online games.  Due to an unsastifactory outcome of cataract surgery I have to get to close to my computer screen.  That, in combination with my shaky hand on the mouse, is contributing to a lower live chess performance.  I guess the board settings for live chess are not working.

There are two areas with Live Chess settings that can influence board size (in addition to using your browser and for example F11, or display your Status Bar at the bottom of your browser window and adjust the overall screen size which affects the board size):

1) My Home / Live Chess / Settings  / Board Size (pulldown menu)

2) in the Live Chess area, down at the lower right, click the nubbly wheel (to the right of the tab labels), click 'Style', choose Board Size (pulldown menu)

ps.  When you first enter the Live Chess area, I think (depending on which link you use to get there), there's a 3rd option offered for board size.

SmileThank you very much sftac!  Using the nubbly wheel to access board size, in combination with F11, solves my problem.

I don't see a nubbly wheel.  I don't see the line where the control options are.  My board is still small even thought I went in and made it enormous.  It's not.

TimBeth

I found that control options line - my board is huge now.  Thanks.
