Live Chess examine mode bug

Hello, I was examining a game yesterday in Live Chess with a student. I had a new analysis board open, I uploaded a pgn, and checked the 'give student full control' box.

However, he wasn't able to move the pieces, or when he did, I didn't see anything happening on my screen. When I moved the pieces, everything went fine.

Is it a know bug ?

Not sure yet as I need more information.

Is the student basic or premium?

Was the student in Live or Live basic?  (Live is the one you used to create the analysis board on).

Were you able to successfully able to make him student with full control?

He is premium. 

I don't know if he was in Live or in Basic.

I was able to check the box giving full control, however, I may have done it before he joined the board, I'm not sure.

Ok, next time you're online, can you go into live chess, use the Rooms tab, join the Help & Support room and ask for me.

If you then create an analysis board I'll test it with you in there.

Without knowing if he was using Basic or not, or which browser/version he was using it makes it a little harder for me to replicate.

I (being the student ) was using Google Chromium (11.0.696.14 (78500) Built on Joli OS 1.2, running on Joli OS 1.2), and I did not use the Simple Board.

I'm not sure about what you mean about Live/Live Basic, but I can tell how I entered. I clicked on Play>Live Chess, and on that page I clicked on "PLAY LIVE CHESS!".

Hmmm, this may be hard for me to replicate as I don't run linux OS.

Maybe there's another explanation : I think cigol joined the game without me sending any invitation. Could it be the reason why the "give student full control" command didn't work ?

Was your board set access as 'Anyone'  or Invite Only?

I guess it was 'anyone', as it's the default option, and I didn't change it.

I hadn't checked the 'Make student' option in the user list.
