When I wrote to chess.com following the http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm link, they responded with:
ryanjpaszek,
Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately without more information about each users set up and internet connection I can't say for sure what the issue is. If you notice that anyone is complaining of lag, please have them send in a ticket and we'd be happy to see if theres any bigger issues :)

So it would be very helpful if everyone took a moment to describe the issues they've been having. The issues I've been experiencing are exactly as Berder describes it.
When viewing a game being played in Live Chess, just in the past couple weeks, often times the players (typically 2000+ rated) will seem to make nonsense moves, such as leaving a queen en prise for 10 moves at a time. This is a bug caused by lag displaying moves. If I close the game tab when this happens and re-open it, two things change:
1. The current move number updates to the correct move number: it increases by 10-20 moves, typically.
2. The position updates to the correct position: it no longer has the "nonsense moves."
It seems that the bug occurs because the players play new moves, but the displayed board fails to update with the new moves.
Additional notes: when this bug occurs the players seem to be moving much slower than you would expect for the fast blitz/lightning time control, so the moves lag further and further behind with every second. And when I see this bug for a particular game, other people viewing the same game will also comment that the game is messed up.
