OK, so I'm 1228 and beat a 1449. And I get a total of 17 points?! WT*?! How was this calculated?

i know it does depend on how many games each player has recently played as well. the ratings are explained here.

Yes, it's good to read up on it.

If you really want to, try and come up with some sort of a rating system yourself, and you'll see that it'll have problems no matter what you do.

hmmm... Im actually thinking about writing a maths project on the glicko system... but he maths in it seems to be very complicated Frown
