Load PGN or Save Gurrent Game

I am sure this must have been asked heaps of time but I cannot find the answer.

I found out how to save the PGN file from playing against 'computer'

But can I load the PGN to restart the game?

If not is there a way to 'save' the current game against 'computer' so it can be restarted later?

The computer games are not set up to allow loading of saved games.

I am using the online client in a browser. Win 10 FF 53

Can I leave the browser window open for a long time then - Like a day and still come back?

Well you could have, until fairly recently. But I have had to sign in multiple times a day in recent weeks and that might force a refresh. The only thing to do is give it a try.

The game can be loaded into an analysis board and there is an option from there to play the postion against the computer. Icon looks like this

Anyway, if you have the PGN of a game that you want to finish against the computer, go to Learn > Analysis. There, you will create your position by using Load PGN (or you can set up the board or paste in a FEN string with the other options). The engine turns on by default so you may want to quickly turn it off, so you don't get any ideas/hints for the game

Once your position is loaded, you click on the icon I mentioned; it is the last of the ones under the buttons and the tool-tip is Finish Vs Computer. By default, I believe you play the person on the move in the game.

Is there an Android app equivalent?  I play on two desktops (in browsers), and two Android devices (phone & tablet), and want to pick up games where I left off.  I cannot find "analyze" on the Android app.

Also, and forgive a newcomer on the site, is there a spot for a wish list for the developers of chess.com?  Would love to see a simple save/load for games vs. the computer, on both website and Android.

On the app there is a Custom Setup on the play vs Computer option. You can't load a game but could set one up, though it appears to be a bit buggy trying to set up a position.

"Load from PGN" is currently broken. The board display software has had a series of bugs. Shortly after one bug is fixed, another shows up. This has happened four times recently.

I just used the Analysis Board to load a PGN successfully.

I'm withdrawing my complaint of a new bug. It turns out that the PGN I wanted to post had a one-letter typo making a move illegal, causing a blank game to appear (but with no warning of an illegal move). I'm happy to report that Load from PGN is working when the moves are legal. Also, the previous bugs of having to insert twice with an edit between to get a position to appear, and not being able to delete a post just made, and getting an error when trying to insert a set up position with no moves made, have been fixed and have not recurred. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
