Locked account by mistake

Dear Support,

I created an account at chess. com about 6 days ago for the first time. I then started a Family subscription and invited my two daughters and wife to share the subscription with. Since then we completed a few lessons available at the site, played a few bots and against each other.

Today I found out that all accounts are locked for “community violation”. I did not receive any email notification which would explain why (I checked spam). My daughter and wife also did not receive any notification.

I attempted contacting support for help but I can’t get past the AI bot (which refers me to the email which I did not receive) to talk to a person so I created this account to be able to make this post and ask for help.

My family recently discovered passion for chess so becoming locked out of our accounts is very unfortunate as we would like to continue learning and playing at chess. com. I would greatly appreciate support to resolve what I think is a mistake or any help and advise on how to contact support team.

I do not intend to have multiple accounts and this account will be removed after this issue is (hopefully) resolved.

You should be able to get the support tool to open a ticket. On the chat explain your situation in detail and if the toll doesn't say it will get staff involved, type something like contact am agent
