resigning or losing on time?

theoreticalboy

Don't listen to these liars; you lose double points when you're wimpy enough to resign, so YOU NEVER SHOULD RESIGN.

dimitros

Read and digest carefully:

All wins count the same.

(It's the only rule that makes sense, otherwise idiots would sit and wait the clock out)

dimitros

of course my friend

anything else reduces the beauty of the game

i just want to know how many points im going to lose or win each time

statistically more..

and less lucrative...

Think about it... no seriously, engage your brain and actually think about it... imagine you were writing fair rules for all players. Would you encourage players to play in an unsporting manner to save rating points? Of course not! QED.

All wins count the same.

Yep.  You should give away all your pieces, and then sit and wait for the clock to run out.  You may even get bonus patience points!
