Losing net connection

We live in an area where the net connection can be weak at times and often fails during live chess, particularly at night. Consequently, I'm losing points as it's classed as my having aborted it but I haven't. although I guess there's no way around it?

Cd a member of staff advise, pl. I'm losing 12 points every time the net disconnects as it says I've abandoned the game when I haven't. It happens quite a lot, especially in the eve.
