Losing when the page freezes.

This keeps happening.  When I reload the page I have lost by abandonment.

I also have been having this problem recently. *Sometimes* if you close the tab, open a new tab and go back to chess.com "play" you can return to your game in progress and continue - but you have to do all this very, Very rapidly. It doesn't always work. Why this sometimes works - and reloading never does - I have no clue.

In the middle of the game, the website seems to froze and no click and nothing working. When open in new tab within min, I am already lost due to abandonment!! This is so ridicules for a this much older website!!!

I have pretty high stable internet connection and I do not think there should be any setup issue as I experience these issues only once in a while. But its unfortune that instead of understanding the issue or acknowledging technical glitches (perhaps server overload/dropouts etc), we are just shown these articles.

The site has metrics on the live servers and if there were server issues they would be working on them. As far as I'm aware, there haven't been any systemic or major issues in the past couple of days.

this happened to me well over a dozen times and every single time iam well ahead of my opponent or just about ready to win! Tonight I tried opening up a second page while my game was not responding and bingo the website is working just fine! I really think some dishonest players found a way to freeze the game. Makes me want to play elsewhere. Its bad enough your robbed of a win,then to make things worse your charged with a loss!

When you aren't in Chesscom anymore, you're gonna have 30 seconds before "abandon"

Random seeks games are played on globally distributed servers and you can get disconnected from the live server and still load the main site. They're located in different locations.

I agree with what people are saying: in the middle of a game (20 min.), especially if I'm ahead, my screen just freezes. It says, "WAIT or LEAVE SCREEN." If you WAIT, then it just re-flashes the same thing again soon. Eventually, it says you've abandoned your game. This also happens if you LEAVE SCREEN.

I have been playing on the same MAC AIR for a long time, and this has never happened before. Now it happens pretty often.

I don't have the flexibility to do fancy things. I'm tired of losing when I'm winning!
