How are the games rewarded to my opponent when I have moved and then the system states that the game is reconnecting?????

For live chess, I've been told that remaining disconnected for two minutes (or the remainder of the time available, whichever comes first), suffices for games to be rewarded to one's opponent. 

If you see the message "the game is reconnecting", that sounds like the connection problem was on your side.

And you might work at lessening your connection problems (eg. avoid wireless connections, excessive web browsing during playing, etc.).

how do i flip my chess board? I want my name at the bottom of the board whether I'm playing black or white

The site's default is to always have you at the bottom of the board, playing that colour. 

But, there is a "setting" (perhaps you set this earlier), where you can always have white at the bottom, regardless of which colour you play (you may wish to check and undo that setting).
