What actually happens is the games will be supplemented with the portion of 24 hours not used. So if you come back off vacation after 30 hours, it will use up 2 days of vacation time and add 18 hours to your clock.

Then you must have been on vacation for a whole number of days.

You shouldn't time out, at worst you will be put back on vacation, but you should get extra time on your clock.

Just come off vacation, you'll be fine. You have timeout protection.

You can't just leave your games on vacation in any case.
