I'm using safari on Mac OS X, and the chess board won't show up when I try to play.  Any way to fix this?

You could try installing firefox

Or Safari 3: http://www.apple.com/safari/ :)

Before that I always used Firefox - now I'm back to Safari, and chess.com works fine.

Also try Software update..
