Hello,
in the other topic you have created, @Martin_Stahl has provided some pointers to the possible cause of the issue (lag? etc.)
Here is an informative article on how lag forgiveness works: https://support.chess.com/article/423-why-did-the-clock-times-suddenly-change-the-clocks-seem-broken
I shall move this topic to Help & Support
title. first I thought I wasn't getting time back after I make a move because I play 2|1. but what is actually happening is my clock is continuing to run on the other persons turn. even premoving, when I'm supposed to get a second back, im losing to time out before my premove goes off which is supposed to be instant, and I'm supposed to have at least a second back from the last move I played. 3 times now in the last week, I make a move, I lose to time out, my last move is in game review, meaning it is the other players turn. yet I lost to time out. the only way this can happen is if my clock is still running on the other person's turn. and since I'm also losing to time out while premoving and supposed to be getting time back from said premoves, it makes sense. why is my clock running on other person's turn? I've tried all different WiFi's and my data internet, all of which have great speeds.
