Major bug in daily games

Over the last few days, I have been noticing a rather major bug while playing daily games on my Android tablet. Either the pieces don't respond when tapped upon, or can't be moved, or the tick sign doesn't appear after clicking the green button, or else the page doesn't move on. In a nutshell, the page simply hangs. Irrespective of how many times I reload it, it still keeps hanging. In fact, the problem went to such an extent today that I was forced to play on my laptop. But the thing is that this is a very disgusting problem at this time of the year, and I won't be on my laptop from tomorrow. I request chess.com moderators to look into the problem asap, and correct the inconvenience.

Sorry to hear you are having a problem. When you have a problem, I suggest you first search the forum to see if others are having the same issue. If it is really a bug, a bunch of people will have complained about it. ( I didn't see anything when I searched.)

If you find nothing, you might suspect that something is wrong with your particular device. Sometimes, restarting your tablet or uninstalling and reinstalling an app helps fix unexplained bugs.

If none of those things work, the way to get a technical bug fixed is to use the bug report tool on the website Help menu.

/ The moderators are just users like you. They can't fix problems with the site. The Chess.com staff has professional site developers who work on problems like that.

I found that it was an issue restricted to the website. I installed the app and found it functioned perfectly, albeit it has some disadvantages (especially the game interface). But I think I'm gonna use both from now on.
