membership reflection

I paid for a membership last week, upon payment of said membership I realized it was not reflecting on my account (it was not upgraded). So I deleted the app and reinstalled it but the problem still persists. I decided to shoot them an email with the foreknowledge of everything going on, I wasn’t expecting an expedited response but it’s been one week now I have heard nothing. Sent another email, still nothing. This is really sad because I actually love this app and to get this kind of treatment isn’t the best. Not to mention it will seriously discourage me from paying again the next cycle. Regardless of whatever is going on priority should be given to certain things especially on billing and membership. I really hope this gets resolved or I might have to call Apple.

App purchases have some manual steps involved. I've contacted some of the billing staff to see if they can follow up with you.

 

Ticket loads have been high and resolution times have increased due to that.

Have you checked your junk/spam folders? Sometimes the site's emails get filtered.

I can't say what hours @Patzer24 works. But a dialogue has been started so it shouldn't take very long to resolve.

I have enrolled for a 7 day free trial and on the 3rd day I get an email fromchess.com telling me I was enrolled for one year subscription. So I tried email to tell them I DO NOT wish to continue and enroll on a one year subscription but my email is BLOCKED and I CANNOT CONTACT them.

So I have advised my credit card provider and hopefully they can resolve this or if I can at least get hold of chess.com accounts to kindly unsubscribe me as I didn't even get to try it for 7 days.

I cannot understand why my email is blocked and cannot contact chess.com regarding this.

Now that you closed your account, it makes things harder. You can use the contact form instead of trying to use e-mail:
