Sorry, it was rude of me not to say so in my previous post, but I really like the site. I love the fact that the "fastest" game one can play is one move per 24 hours. I like to play chess without worrying about clocks.

I registered here to play chess against a variety of opponents, but have also persuaded my brother to do likewise, so we can play & talk at the same time.
Whilst I am fine with people viewing our moves either during or after the game, I'd like to know if the messages are private.
Also, do the messages only transmit after a move is made?
