Is anybody familiar with an infuriating issue where pieces aren't shown on the board? I use the chess.com site and Chrome browser, on my Samsung mobile. It can happen immediately on launch of a new game (e.g. blitz) but also when cycling through the many 3 or 5 day games I play concurrently.
So, I see an unguarded piece and take it only on the next move to see an opponent piece that wasn't visible on my last move, is actually still in play and which then takes my attacking piece.
Refreshing the page before playing any move is a reasonably solid protection but it's still very frustrating because I play a lot of games and sometimes forget to refresh before playing.
Missing pieces is normally an issue with the browser cache. So an occasional clearing of the cache may be helpful and refreshing when it happens may he required.
