get a new mouse lol
Mouse Drops (Bug?)
I experience no mouse issues, certainly no inaccurate moves registered while dragging to the destination square, when I play on other servers. This issue is peculiar to chess.com, and if my issue isn't addressed by mgt here, I'll ask for a refund. You wouldn't think of it as a joke if you lost 6 in a row because of it. I've stopped playing chess here.
May be possible to select piece with mouse click followed by another mouse click to select desired square. Is there a need to "drag piece"?
Im having serious mouse issues myself. When i try to drag a piece sometimes it just drops and no im not releasing the button on the mouse .. any help chess.com?\
Hello. In order do to not create a new thread, the same issue occurs to me today. I have now playing on lichess, and everything works well. On chess.com, the mouse auto release a lot of time.
I have this happening a lot at the moment, but I've recently switched to a different mouse. I don't have the issue on lichess though. I just tested it when analysing a game, just hovering a piece over another square to see if the mouse releases by itself. It seems to happen about 1/10th of the time.
Not sure if it's the mouse, chess.com, or if I'm losing my marbles!
Just chiming in to say it's been happening to me a lot as well! Not sure if it's my mouse, but other programs don't seem to cause me the same problem.
I frequently experience an inaccurate move when my mouse "drops" a piece to an unintended square as I drag it to a destination square. This usually results in a loss. It started with the October 2018 release of Windows 10, roughly. Does anyone else experience this? I tried using Ctrl-F5 which maybe helped a little, but not much. Thanks for your reply.
