Yes, you can join as many groups as you like. In the event that two teams you are on play each other, you can choose to join for either team.

Have you tried this? At one point it was prohibited as designated "losers" joined the other team then resigned games.
I know it sounds obvious, but is one member allowed to be in more than one group/team? Also, if they are allowed to, how do they play if their two (or more) teams play each other?
