Your age doesn't really have anything to do with it. It's really just your experience. Although a 15 year old would have better initial skill than say a six year old

Well, it's also your ability to reach your peak before mental decline sets in in your 30s. A 50 year old who started at 30 might have the same amount of experience as a 35 year old who started at 15, but all other things being equal the 35 year old should be a better player.
