My Board Got Really Small?

Go to the bottom-right of the board. An arrow will pop up. Use it to grow your board.

Same problem here. Looks fine in Chrome and the resize button works there, but I use Firefox and there it's small and the resize button does nothing.

My board is significantly smaller than the options section. Is there a way to make the board bigger than this and the moves options to the right smaller? Also, this is the max that I can expand using the opposing diagonal arrows in the bottom right corner.

You could try reducing your browser’s zoom percentage.

Happening to me on Chrome on macOS. The resize icon does nothing.

My chess board is super small in focus mode, even with the arrows sizes, my board still small. please fix it

near the bottem right corner next to the board there are arrows and drag down or up to your preffeb size

I found solution but you wont like it. I'm on MacOS and am using Arc as my main browser. Whenever I switch to Safari, the problem disappears and board is in normal size. Since Arc is Chrome based I'd suggest that the issue is with the Chrome browser. So try switching browsers and it should be fine.

To get a bigger board you need you need to buy a membership.

Same thing here, out of no where. No button makes any change, same for the zoom.

Hi, I found the solution. Download the chess.com app to your PC, and the board will be big, I don't have the resize arrows on my screen for some reason. The app is the answer, Hope this helps. Let me know.

We shouldn’t be forced to use the app. I don’t like the app layout, and it lacks functionalities compared to the website. This is a dirty move from chess.com. Your privacy is more invaded by using the app.

You all are still fortunate: since a few days the chessboard doesn’t appear at all on my chess.com website account. I use IPad with updated Firefox 138.1, no extensions, cache cleared, Performance and Functional cookies enabled.

FOLLOW-UP

The bug was fixed and now the chessboard appears for me and I can do the daily Puzzles like usual (Firefox 138.1 on Ipad). Chess.com informed me by email, that the bug was fixed. I don’t know if this bug was the culprit for the shrunk board problem reported above by other users.

@chess.com FIX THIS I CANT PLAY LIKE THIS, IF THIS IS LIKE THIS I CANT TRAIN PROPERLY AND I HAVE TO SWITCH TO LICHESS BECAUSE WE ARE USING THIS IT THE CHES VAR CHESS.COM FIX YOUR GAME!!!!
