That definitely sounds frustrating. If your moves aren’t being registered and games are getting auto-cancelled, it’s usually caused by a connection issue between your browser (or app) and the Chess.com game server, even if your internet seems fine.
Here are a few things you can try:
• Refresh the page and clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
• Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox are the most stable).
• Disable browser extensions that might interfere, like ad-blockers.
• If you’re using the mobile app, make sure it’s fully updated, or reinstall it.
• You can also check your connection at: chess.com/cp to test stability with Chess.com’s servers.
