This happens to me this morning as well. Files support ticket no response yet. I've never had another account.

Ok, there's nothing illegal, immoral, or wrong with that. I'm not judging because there's nothing to judge. Also, I can't speak for Chess.com in any official capacity but, THAT may be where the problem is--The name change. Someone in billing may not be aware of that. Continue with the present ticket you have open but if more info is required to solve this dilemma, mention the name change to them.
