Chess.com will mute you in a heartbeat if you hurt a snowflakes feelings by saying the same kinds of things that their own chess bots say...they don't let you respond to the you got muted email and they don't provide any evidence as to why you were muted...they are just a bunch of jerks and it is best to not talk to them or any of the other toxic players...

A 1 day mute is for 24 hours and doesn't reset at midnight. It would unmute 24 hours later.
