I put a photo in my profile, and I thought it would show up on any of my forum conversations. So far it hasn't. Why?

A browser refresh (Control + R) just makes matters worse. Now there is a picture of two dogs!

NO! Those two little dogs are the picture I wanted in my photo. How can I get it to work?
