Lets face it...the puzzles were weak and the puzzle rating was vastly over inflated...lets get real now with this new rating system and refined puzzle rating ok?
Lets get back to reality...

Same thing happened to me and my highest rating from yesterday is lower by 1000 in the score than on the graph.
#Changeitback
Nah, they won't
They changed back views because the resistance was big enough

This is a good change, they shouldn't change it back.
They should have done this a long time ago.
To see how much more sense this makes, look at the current puzzles leaderboard:
https://www.chess.com/leaderboard/tactics
I will remind you under the previous system there were people with puzzle ratings in the tens of thousands.

whats wrong with that? I dont want to do puzzles anymore, cuz theres no bragging rights like "I hit 3500"

It was a strong indicator the puzzle rating system had gone completely out of chess.com 's control.
It also didn't work terribly well with the definition of the elo/glicko system.

I'm a bit confused because that's not what your rating history says.

Did they even change the points system?
I didn't know anyone cared about the points system, frankly I'd have been fine if they removed it entirely.

:FAcepalm. everybody who i know who cares about improvement loves it, and tbh it motivated me to do more puzzles, cuz i wanted to get into legend. Now i understand why some people dont like low rated people in forums
Mine dropped from 2500 to 1700. Can this be fixed???
That drop is the fix itself
