Never get e-mails saying it's my turn

I have gone to alert and message preferences and set it up to where it should send me message whenever it's my turn .... i never get them. I have checked my spam/trash/filters - still nothing. Any ideas?

If you're having problems receiving alerts from the site, when you log out if you use the X in the top right corner, the site still registers you as logged in, therefore you won't receive any alerts. When you log in, there is a small check box which says "keep me logged in" can you please make sure this is un-checked, then after your games, when you log off the site, can you please make sure you use the "Logout" button in the top right corner, and not the X. This ensures the site recognises you as logged off and will forward you any games alerts to your external email address :)

Finally, make sure that you have added all email from "@chess.com" to your allowed senders list in your email program. Many email providers aggressively block email that is legitimate. By adding "@chess.com" to your allowed senders list you will make sure that you and others get email alerts from Chess.com.
