New account - not showing when I search

Hi all,

I've just registered myself and my son but when I search for him to add him as a friend, he doesn't show up. Likewise when I log in as him and search for my userid, I don't show up.

Is there a delay before we're regesterd?

I think there's a little delay, not sure.

There is a bit of a delay :) If you need to find them sooner than that just replace username with their username in this URL:

http://www.chess.com/members/view/username

Also, since you've played games with him, you can just look at your recent games and click on his name.
