RESOLVED: New game/rateing adjustement

Sort:

G'day.

Before the new look Chess.com, when one was issueing a challange; one could adjust the rateing parameters before issueing a challange. I seem to have to issue the challange then go to "edit" button and then make the parameter change. By this time usualy some one has picked up the game and we are away.

How do I make the rateing adjustement before issueing the challange or is this no longer possible.

Thanks.

( Another thing that might have a bearing on this question this is that I usualy choose to play black when makeing a challange.)

There's a box in both live and online chess for rating range...

IT IS BUILT INTO THE CHALLENCE SITESmile

 . . . yes, but.

I wish to play Black.

So I click on "Start a new game"

Then I change the prompt to " I play as black "

Where is the option at this stage of changeing the game parameters please?

( ie. 1350  1550 , as an example. )

Bump.  I am looking for the same options, before the "new look" site - chanelleger's rating range and speed.  Where did they go?  thanks

Rowan

:)

You got in before me, I was going to bump as well.

As MaBelle says; any one know what happened?

Wow, it must be bad!

Here we we were, happy little vegimites. *

Then there was change, Did CHESS.com change for profit; for the better use of the site for the members, or what.

Don't know him/her (MaBell23); but a couple of folks that use the site; that being me and Ma are asking a pretty simple question.

Every where you look these days, you read about improvement in services delivered. Never had any problem with CHESS.com

The thing that really bugs me is that I wish to play black and set the parameters, MaBell said it, I agree, with this great new change, why can't we do do what we used to be able to do.

Then of course there is the total lack of response; if you are in the know, set a moment and tap that key board.

What's the buzz ?

* Relax; it's an Ozzie thing :)

Set opponent to RANDOM, then you will be able to filter on rating.
