New(ish) Features Starting To Become Very Irritating!

Those dialogs are based on cookies. So, if you clear site cookies or use incognito/private mode, you'll get them each new session.
Thanks for that information but it begs the question why? Why do we need to see these dialogue boxes at all? The views given above show how utterly pointless they are. Apart from getting in our way, they serve no purpose.
And I cleared my cache/cookies well over a week ago and I've visited the site a few dozen times since, presumably having site cookies re-installed on my laptop, so why am I still seeing these boxes every morning when I log in?

"Any account over a month old should not receive such" - completely agree.
And I should have mentioned that I'm not using a VPN, so not logging on in "incognito/private mode"

Mine finally quit popping up every day. (Thanks!) But no, it wasn't based on cookies, because I hadn't cleared any cookies in months, and when I do clear cookies, I'm careful not to delete any related to sites I use daily (unless there's a specific problem with one of those sites).
As others noted just above me, it shouldn't be related to cookies anyway, since many of us do clear cookies once in a while. If anything, it should be related to account age -- or just not have them at all. (Maybe a question mark at upper right that the user can CHOOSE to click on if he/she/they doesn't understand what the page is for, though I can't imagine anyone not being sure what "lessons" are for.)
I think some of the annoying notifications can be turned off by unchecking the automatic boxes for "Chess.com news and announcements" and "Lesson & Practice Reminders" if you go to https://www.chess.com/settings/notifications. I still receive some of the pop-ups, but less than I used to. Perhaps chess.com could implement a setting to block pop-ups on the site?
That's interesting and I've disabled a few of those notifications - hadn't realised those settings were there, so thanks for the tip.
