New notifications?

Originally, the notifications I received used standard notation, but it has recently changed to [Player] moved their [Piece]. Is there any way to get notifications back in standard notation?

The site occasionally tries updates on some members. If you're receiving that, there's nothing to do to change it at this point.

This is super annoying, I am also one of these users who have received the new notification format. I truly hate it I want it back to notation. Wish there was a way to opt out/change it back while they do A/B testing
I no longer receive “my move” notifications on my iPhone. Is there a way to get it back?

I have the same problem, and I'm trying everything to get it back the way it was. So I really hope this is something that can be changed soon.

If enough of us who don't like it tell chess.com via support they will know their users' opinion on it. Do as I did and submit a report to them for feedback
Just had my notifications change to this today and it’s very frustrating. At least give users the option to choose if the they want notation or not. Contacted support but seems there’s nothing they can do at the moment.

Same - I would rather have a notification, per game, that said "Your move vs Opponent" than "Opponent moved their rook."
Give me standard notation.... or just "Your move." I don't like the new notification AT ALL.
The new notification format is terrible. It needs to go back to the old way as soon as possible. How else am I supposed to practice algebraic notation? At least there should be an option to disable the new format.
I also want this changed back
I just wish they'd clear out stale notifications when you've already made your move.

I am receiving the notification what is very disturbing! I play daily games, when I am just busy to make the move, at that particular moment someone plays his moves. So, at that very same moment comes the notification and cover the button! I lose concentration!
Is that what you said mr Martin? That they can’t change it because they are busy with trying updates on me ( some of us) ?
I hope it’s not permanent.

The same notification that always existed is what is happening. It's just the text that's different

I meant this, Martin. In the right corner of my IPad, on the place where the button is for me to submit my move at that moment. Very disturbing when your opponent have 6 games and plays them all , while you are busy with another game. Here the screenshot.

That can be changed under Settings > Notifications > Popup Notifications
Toggle Show My Moves Popups off
