no animations in bullet on iOS - Chess Forums

Hi. Recently my opponents pieces in bullet stopped animating and just “appear” in their new position. The old way was natural and useful. The sudden new way is awkward. I haven’t changed any settings, nor can I find a way to enable animations.

Latest version of app on latest version of iOS on an iPhone 11 Pro.

Present in blitz - is this intentional in bullet to save time?

Agreed. This appears to be new as of today it is terribly offputting for gameplay. Is this a bug? Is there a fix?

Same problem. Impossible to play in this condition. In bullet , we need to see clearly the animation.

Received a response in the App Store. “Hello, we recently made a change to piece animation in bullet games so that move speed can be optimized. Following feedback from our members, we've reverted the change. Please logout and log back in to return to the previous piece animation style. :)"
