Tried all the suggestions with no luck - except I can't change browser don;t have permission to do so.
The home screen with my game listed does seem to display the pieces on the board when you hold the mouse over the game but my guess it that it's a browser issue, annoying as I mainly want to play from work, but will check when i get home.

You have tried clearing your web browser cache/cookies? Also, using the "Control F5" or "Control R" keys to do a hard refresh on the page with the missing pieces? And still no success?
That is correct I have tried both of those options, hard refresh and clearing browser cache/cookies. More than once too.
Forgot to check is prob experienced over weekend at home, hopefully will remember tonight otherwise I lose my games!

OK the pieces are showing now. . . . weird
the board is there but not pieces are displayed. . . .halfway through several games. . . .!
