You should let me restart the game with him from that position and not count that as a loss.

This is very bad policy on the part of chess.com

Even if they can't manage to run their servers properly which is ridiculous enough.. and i'm a paying member.. and so many are.  but besides that, They should be able to detect if somebody is scored +10 or +20  with 4 minutes on the clock then they aren't just going to sit there watching the time pass.  And they should know that coincided with an error on their server. because chess.com was even showing a 504 or whatever error they show.

The error is down not just to incompetence re servers, but to chess.com having a bad policy in not detecting that somebody is away ahead on points and has time , so wouldn't just let themselves lose the game doing nothing in that manner.

They are able to built a snazzy GUI , which is the difficult part, and they're able to detect cheaters which is also very difficult. .So they should be able to deal with these problems.  They've already done the hard work..

I actually haven't done many of the lessons or puzzles since signing up  so maybe I should cancel and just play the games.  Though if this keeps happening i'd consider switching to another platform. It hasn't happened to me personally that often but really it shouldn't happen at all, and I understand it has happened quite a bit to a number of people
