As far as I know, there's no way to hide your online status.

Is there a way to prevent friends from seeing when you were online last or how long ago you were online? I tried to email this question to support, but I do not see a mechanism to do so. The help topic "ask a question" just brings me to a database of canned answers that are not helpful or on topic.
