Opening Book

When I'm making my daily chess moves, it shows the opening name that is a hyper link to opening explorer normally. But now when I click on the link it takes me to opening book, which does not allow me to "explore" the opening and a few moves ahead. Is this is setting? Or did something change? If it's a setting I can't find it under Daily chess settings. Help would be appreciated!

I saw somebody else post that this was happening to them yesterday, but nothing had changed for me. Now it's the same for me...so is it a bug? Answers please chess.com and sort it out quick snap or daily chess is negatively affected in a big way.

Why can't I see my developments for my 10,000 games in 11 years?
I am terminating my membership until the error is fixed.

It seems to me that this premium option is bugged, nothing was changed in paid memberships, so now just explorer is not available for everyone, not just for regular accounts, also for premiums. Yup it kinda sucks if you paying for it 😅.

Okay, this is annoying. Now I have to use the opening book by making moves on on a new opening explorer page. and I have a stupid Sicilian game 10 moves in that takes forever to do this (:

Pow11 have you reported a ticket to the staff? They should fix this asap, since it is premium bug.

Yeah it's also broken for me and I did report it two days ago with no answer. This is the main feature that I use, and a big part of why I paid for premium, so if it's not fixed I'm cancelling.

It seems that it’s been done that way by design. I remember reading about this in another thread.

Same for me. I have reported it twice now. It’s only reason I pay membership. If it isn’t sorted soon I will seriously consider cancelling paid membership. I understand things can happen but it’s not right that this hasn’t been fixed after so many complaints. This is now day 4 with no explorer🙁

I think the support's answer is delayed due to the weekend

That and the fact they have overloaded tickets and not enough staff to work on them.

The base of games has not been lost, it is just that now access to it has a longer path. So I demand a personal discount for extra clicks))) !!

Regardless, if this is a planned change it should at least be communicated somewhere. Then they wouldn't have all the tickets from people saying 'hey, there's a bug in opening explorer' because they would know that it was deliberate. They might not be happy about it, but at least it would be known.
