opponent has not moved in several months

Well, if you have really been waiting for "several months",  you only have 6 days more to wait.

I have never understood this frustration with people taking there time/vacation.  All you have to do is login, and check the game.  

If youre that impatient then chess may not be for you, or simply get the email notification.

It has nothing to do with frustration.    I just don't understand

well I could understand even as much a month but this has been far longer

hopefully its not a truly life or death matter. travel from the great beyond is unlikely...gl

I really wish I could make team matches no vacation. We have that option, for tournaments;there's no reason why we shouldn't for matches.

Nimzorevenge, I to have an opponent on vacation. He has a month left, and has had that for a couple weeks. You would think it would move, 1 month today, 29 days tomorrow, 28 the day after, as it has on other opponents, but this one just seems to sit on 1 month. Very annoying, not because of the vacation, but the fact that it is not decreasing. I know that premium members get vacation time added every month, but it is not a month added, 5 days max, and you cannot acquire more than 3 months, so I, like you, am confused and fustrated. Not sure if it is "abuse" or "technical glitch".

Usually, when someone doesn't move for several months, it's a bad sign medically speaking.  Probably someone should call a doctor.
