opponent has paused the game after loosing queen

If it's this game: https://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=146502560 your opponent has triggered their auto-vacation to avoid timing out. It says they have 3 months of vacation time, so once that's used up, either he'll move or you'll win by timeout. I know it sucks, but there's not much you can do.
Thank you

What's "loosing"?
To make something loose, or to let something loose. In context, I believe it's the latter. The OP is saying that his opponent has just unleashed his queen.

Yea, I feel like premiums get waaaaaaaaaaay too much vacation time.
I feel that too. It is annoying.
Vacation time in my oppinion is a mechanism that must be reviewed.

I understand, and appreciate, vacation time (indeed, I've had to use it a time or two myself), but the amount of vacation time this site offers is seriously excessive. There should be a cap of 30 days at the most (and even that is being generous).

There is a policy against vacation abuse. Generally that means going on vacation to avoid losing. Letting it go for more than a few days without explanation is cause to ask the Staff to adjudicate the game in your favor.
Here's another example of a game I have been observing (fortunately not one of mine). This is as of this writing.
The last few moves have taken weeks and Black (1800+ rating - to move) has taken vacation again. Resigning would be the best move (... Kxd8 is forced and then Bc6+ wins the Queen and mate follows quickly) but yes, some people don't resign. That's their perogative but in that case they have an obligation to play the game out in a timely manner.
You can also detect abuse when the player takes vacation but continues to log on and play blitz games.
I get that vacation is sometimes needed. I've used it a couple of times for a few days when I was traveling. When I paused the games, I explained why and gave a specific date when I expected to get back. This should be required.
Staff, if you're there, please deal with this issue and do something to make it work in a more reasonable manner.

If your opponent wants to burn all of his vacation on 1 game, i dont see how they are "punishing" you by making you wait. In the mean time, enjoy the site, enjoy your games, enjoy the learning, and wait.

That alone is an issue. It should be binary (on or off vacation). If you are on vacation, logging in should set it to *off*. You can set it to *on* again which logs you out of the site. Come in to play blitz, and the clock ticks. If you are logged in, the clocks on all your games should tick.

You can always make that as a suggestion but the current implementation has been around for quite a while, with a change to the 24 hour minimum a few years ago, so I don't think that particular solution is one the site would go with.
The game is under way again so you have not had to wait very long. Your opponent appears to be a beginner/improver who plays one game at a time. He is a keen player who has shelled out money so as to have access to all the resources on the site and has got through a decent number of games so I suspect he will now finish your game in timely fashion.
That said I rather agree with those saying that vacation time is not ideally set up. One odd thing is that when auto vacation kicks in, as soon as the player brings himself or herself out of vacation up to twenty four hours gets added to their clock. This does not matter much but we are all used to the fairness of each player having equal time so it grates a bit. I suspect quite a few experienced players would not wish to have auto vacation kick in on their games so, if it does not already exist, I would certainly suggest that a premium member be given the option to turn off auto vacation.

Many members here misunderstand the rules about vacation. I'm just went on vacation because I desire a break from my 16 "daily" games (3 days per move). The rules still permit me to:
- Log on to this site and read the forum
- Watch videos and live-streamed events
- Practice on Tactics Trainer and Chess Mentor
- Use the analysis board to study my daily games
- Play speed chess
If I want to play some low-stress sloppy speed chess while I take a break from my high-stress meticulous slow games, why is this difficult to understand? The suggestion that I shouldn't be able to use chess.com at all while on vacation is especially strange (and nonsensical from a business perspective). It's as if some members think that vacation is only for times when I literally can't play chess at all because I'm incapacitated or completely preoccupied with practical (not fun) matters. But this view is not based on the actual rules. I'm completely within my rights to go on vacation simply because I want to, as long as I'm not using it to significantly prolong a lost game.
And what I do with my vacation time, whether it's poker, checkers, tiddlywinks, or speed chess should not be any one else's concern.

The only way 24 hours should be added to the clock is if the player immediately exits vacation after being placed on it. It should be the difference between 24 hours and the time actually used, up to the time control.
When the 24 hour minimum usage was implemented, that was not the case. A lot of people had their vacation time decimated by the auto-vacation process and 24 minimum so the difference in time taken was added to the clocks to prevent that problem.
As of right now, a premium member can't turn off the protection, even if they wanted to.
