It could be because it was made less than 4 moves so no rating changed there.

I'm new here, and I thought that "all" games that are won on time do not affect our rating points at all. I didn't know that the opponent has to make more than 4 moves before it is considered a valid game. It's not an issue for me anyway, just wondering why it happened.

If either player has more than three turns the ratings change.
The shortest timeout game that affects ratings is three and a half moves or seven plies.

I just won an online chess due to my opponent's time is out. However, my rating didn't improve at all even though it is a rated game. How so?
